A national retail merchandising organization was losing ground to faster competitors, hindered by slow assortment decisions spread across more than 100 disparate tools. I led the research, journey mapping and product strategy that turned a fragmented, largely manual process into a single, evidence-based assortment platform — combining service design with pattern-recognition and machine-learning models to accelerate decisions without sacrificing accuracy.
